This Elk Just Stole a Bottle of Wine

We would normally say that an AleHorn is an appropriate drinking vessel for any drinker on any occasion, but we’re not sure if that applies to animals that have horns. I suppose if an Elk goes to the trouble of stealing your cab, he can drink it however he damn well pleases.

A resident in Evergreen, Colorado took this photo after the elk selected a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from a neighbor’s recycling bin. Elk and other animals such as moose have been known to seek out fermented fruit, especially in the fall when there are a lot of apples lying around on the ground. This one, however, seems to have developed a more sophisticated palate.
