5 Items for your Game of Thrones Gift List

By now, I’ve got my Game of Thrones off season pretty well planned out. Summer and fall are the seasons of the year when I keep up on my daily GoT Google search session, which goes like this:

  1. “Game of Thrones cosplay” (because yes, it’s Con season and no, Daenerys cosplay DOESN’T get old.)
  2. “Game of Thrones season
[insert next season number here] rumors” because spoiler warnings are for the weak,
  3. “Game of Thrones fan theories” because you guys are crazy, and finally…
  4.  “Game of Thrones gifts” because crocheted Ned heads will someday be my downfall.

Any neat little finds that take me down the Game of Thrones merch rabbit hole end up on my now-glorious Game of Thrones Christmas list, the best of which I now bestow on you.

3D Puzzle Map of Westeros

Those without book appendices who are trying to make sense of all of the locations in the show, this puzzle’s for you. It’s also for lovers of the iconic opening credit sequence, people who like the satisfaction/frustration of building of crazy 1200 piece multi-tiered puzzles, or, let’s face it, anyone else who’s human. It’s awesome and I want it.

AleHorn Game of Thrones Inspired Tankard

You can engrave them however you like!

What do the hound and King Robert have in common? Not much, besides having used a horn tankard just like this one at one point or another on the series. Get the XL and drink until you don’t care who’s king.

Dark Horse Deluxe Game of Thrones Wierwood Snow Globe

When many of us first met Cat and Ned, it was right next to a heart tree in the Winterfell godswood. Weirwoods sometimes cry blood red sap from their ancient, human-like faces, and will never die if left alone. As a symbol of the oldest mythology and magic in Westeros, weirwoods are beautiful and morbid, serving simultaneously as touchstones of the past and warnings for the future.

The tree inside this snow globe is the massive one that grows just beyond the Wall, and the base features part of the Night Watch’s oath. Only 1000 of these snow globes were made, which means if you can get your hands on one, it’ll be a totally enviable addition to your GoT shrine shelf.

The Official A Game of Thrones Coloring Book (A Song of Ice and Fire)

Before you either tell me that adult coloring books are trendy nonsense or that you don’t get why coloring books were ever made for anyone above the age of 4 in the first place, just shh. You’re the one that needs this the most – it’ll help you relax a little.

The Game of Thrones Coloring Book is fun, promotes mindfulness, is gorgeous, and is OFFICIAL. Lots of awesomely talented artists came together to create beautiful, intricate ink drawings for you to color in, so take a breath, grab your colored pencils, and color in your favorite house sigil. It even doubles as a great source of wall art, should you need more Game of Thrones things to brighten (or darken) up the place.

A Feast of Ice and Fire: The Official Game of Thrones Companion Cookbook

If one of your favorite things about reading A Song of Ice and Fire is GRRM’s distractingly delicious descriptions of Westerosi cuisine, put a copy of the official Game of Thrones Cookbook, A Feast of Ice & Fire on your list. There are recipes from all over the series’ universe, like stuffed grape leaves and duck with lemon from Dorne or pork pie from the wall.
